My Works in Progress
Here you’ll find a glimpse into the stories I’m currently writing or revising. These works reflect the themes I return to often: identity, memory, belonging, and the quiet moments that shape who we are. Some are close to finished. Others are still unfolding. All are deeply personal and rooted in the kinds of truth I believe fiction can carry.
I’ll update this page as the stories grow. Thanks for reading.

The Apple Pie Confessions
Status: Complete | Literary Short Fiction
Summary:
Jackson Ray returns to his hometown of Moss Hill, Mississippi, for Thanksgiving. It’s a place filled with memories, family, and expectations he hasn’t quite escaped. As he moves through holiday routines and familiar conversations, the weight of what he’s been hiding starts to surface. This quiet, emotionally layered story explores identity and the fear of being honest with the people who know you best.

The Trailer Where We Grew Up
Status: In Development | Literary Short Fiction
Summary:
Two childhood friends reunite in their hometown for the first time in years to clean out the trailer they once spent every summer inside. One stayed close to home. The other left and built a life far away from the heat, the silence, and the things they never talked about. As they work their way through boxes, memories, and long pauses, they’re forced to face what was almost said and what still lingers between them. This coming-of-age story explores queer longing, missed chances, and the way Southern summers stretch time and memory into something harder to shake.
