Long Bio
Jason Rosenburg is a Southern literary fiction writer who explores the complicated intersections of identity, faith, memory, and personal transformation. His work often follows queer characters living in communities where truth is difficult to speak and silence is its own kind of inheritance. He writes about family, religion, and belonging with a focus on emotional honesty and quiet tension.
Originally from Red Bay, Alabama, Jason now splits his time between the Deep South and the border city of Tijuana, Mexico, where he lives with his partner David and their beautiful black cat, Punky. This dual sense of place informs much of his writing, which often centers on what it means to carry your past while trying to create something more honest for yourself.
He is currently pursuing a BA in English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. His stories are grounded in the nuances of Southern culture and shaped by a desire to tell the kind of truth that lingers long after the page.
